Dodge is a United States-based brand of automobiles, sport utility vehicles, and trucks, manufactured and marketed by Chrysler LLC in over 60 different countries and territories worldwide. Chrysler is the parent company which owns brands like Mercedes etc till date. The dodge model has been setup as to portray the muscle and power beast engine cars in pre-war years where car was just a means of transport and nothing else.Later Dodge entered the compact car field for 1961 with their new Lancer sedan Though it was not initially successful, the Dart range that came after it in 1963 would prove to be one of the division’s top sellers for many years.
There has been no looking back for the brand since then.The car has been more successful due it’s attempt to use latest technologies , Dodge’s first experience of any synergies with the German side of the company came in the form of the new Magnum sports wagon, also they produced the first rear-wheel drive platform since the 1980s and a revival of the classic V8 engine. Since the end of last century the Dodge brand has used it’s muscle image to make high horse power machines like trucks and RV.Dodge has now been offering light truck models to interested buyers. For the last few years, they are largely concentrating on the existing passenger cars, but eventually gained their own chassis and body designs as the market grew. Light- and medium-duty models were offered first, then a heavy-duty range trucks which roll on free ways. Now dodge has entered successfully in the markets of Cars, SUV, Trucks, RV, Van, UV, Cruisers, Motor sport cars.
It has produced one of the most powerful cars to roll out of any car manufacturer factory in the name of the Dodge Viper which is often called as Mean Muscle Machine.The dodge viper stood as the testimony to the value and the engineering of the Dodge machine has.As I have Told earlier that Dodge is now spreading wings in possible fields and types and makes of cars like Van, trucks, SUV, Cruisers etc. They have offered exclusive rights and dealerships to selected outlets which are the official retail center for new mode Dodge Cars.
