In the Auto-Expo that held recently in Delhi, Mercedes launched its yet another great piece of luxury: Mercedes S500L. When we talk about Mercedes, words like luxury, comfort, class etc immediately strikes our mind and this model is not any exception. Walking past all its predecessor, it has set a new dimensions in the market of luxury cars by adding heaps of breath taking features. Backed by a powerful engine, killer looks and high-tech features, Mercedes-Benz S500L astounds everyone and grabs a look from everyone on the way.
You must be thinking what this L is doing in the name? Yeah you are thinking right, it stands for Large indicating the large space available inside the sedan. From the exterior the form remains the same as on the other standard wheelbase S-class models but obviously the dimensions have changed some if not a lot. Its body-line, with slender curves and massively milled wheel arches, stretches all out to give a landscape type view of the car. There is complete perfectness as the roof of the car curves to meet the boot and the extra large size sunroof which makes up almost the complete roof is just another attractive add-on. From its sporty LED-lined headlamps to the brake lights, to its entire profile; the large proportions seem to scream bold elegance with a massively roaring appeal.
Mercedes S500L has a powerful 5.5 litre V8 engine delivering 369 hp @ 6300 rpm. You feel the power when you speed past 200 and still find impeccable stillness. Just wow! This car’s air-assisted suspension is so amazing that you actually will have to check the window and see the passing landscapes to know whether you are moving.
