When I started blogging, it was just a hobby. Actually abhisays.com was meant to be just a homepage for me on internet. Now things have changed, it has become a money maker tool for me. The main source of money for my blog is adsense, textlinks, paid reviews, donation, affiliates etc. Now blogging has become more than online diary or journal for me. It has become a medium of serious discussions, product reviews, social and economic analysis on internet. Even blogs are supporting many social issues. For example have you seen Tsunami blog ? During the time of Tsunami, this blog mobilized thousands of volunteers across the world in a few hours, and provided a single point of information for Tsunami aid and relief. This is a perfect example of power of blog. These days, Journalists have started their blogs on world wide web to air their ideas and thoughts and draw reader responses. In India blogging is in its early stages as compared to US and other European countries, but I am confident within 2-3 years it will become a great tool of information media. Even many bloggers are seriously thinking to make blogging as their career.
