Post online using email with Posterous

After the success of Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, YouTube, Twitter, Digg, reddit and Del.icio.us. Internet geeks are coming with new self-publishing tools which are completely user driven. This year one more name added in this list. It is Posterous.com, where user can publish new posts just by sending an e-mail. Creating a blog on Posterous is very simple just email something to post@posterous.com. You’re done. Its one of the co founders is Sachin Agarwal who is from India. Posterous.com has claimed that they got 6,000 bloggers in the first week of their launch and total 1.2 million unique visitors in the month of May. Here you can also find your friends on other websites like FriendFeed, Swurl and Spokeo.

Users can import their most recent activities on other social sites on a single page of Posterous. Even they can invite their friends to monitor and comment on each update (a new photo at Flickr here, a new blog post on blogger), all on a single page. It’s just awesome. Nice effort, I must say. Soon I will write a complete article on better usage and application of Posterous. Till then enjoy Blogging.
