Mohammad Azharuddin has been a master of cricket for India and world as well. He served as Indian cricket team captain for more than six years and bought home laurels from foreign land as well as won many tournaments back in India itself. Recently he has opened many gym and fitness training center in his home town Hyderabad. Even today Azhar loves collecting watches and has more than millions stocked into these watches. An anecdote I would like to share: Once while is early days playing in Sharjah Azhar required a lot of money urgently for some personal reasons, instead of asking any other persons help, he went to a local vintage watch shop and causally flipped off wrist watch and asked” how much can you give me for that”, the watch fetched him about RS 40 lakhs way back in 2001. Since then when azhar had undergone the worst phase of his life it was his watches which pulled him through the crisis, he even sell watches for the money to setup gym and fitness center in Hyderabad.Recently, Tissot appointed former Indian cricket captain Mohammed Azharuddin as its brand ambassador along with likes of Aishwarya Rai and Walter Von Kanel. Celebrity or precious watches are found only at exclusive stores in like custom shops, hotels etc.
