Just on sunday, I added peel away ad on the top right corner of my blog. At present I am giving the ad of new Youtube Downloader using the peel away ad. Peel away ad is also known as pagepeel or magic corner. Actually pagepeel adds new banner area for websites without affecting the existing look and feel of the website. Moreover these pagepeels have got more “click per view ratio”. For a long time I was trying to find some free plugin for creating peel away ad on my blog. Then, finally I got the completely free wordpress plugin “Pageear” through which it is very easy to add peel away ad in any wordpress powered blog.
One of the top bloggers John Chow also recommends peel away ads. However he talks about some peel away ad which is not free. But in this article you will get the idea of free peel away ad for your wordpress blog.
This has to be one of the coolest ad units yet. It makes the blog look like a paper page and the ad is revealed when you “peel away” the page. The ad is non intrusive and super effective because it makes people want to peel the ad to see what’s hiding behind it.
Steps to add peel away ad in WordPress blog ::
- Download the Pageear plugin.
- Unzip Zip archive on your harddisk.
- Create two image with size of 100×100 pixel and 500×500 pixel in jpg format. The right top of the pictures (diagonal from the upper left corner to the right lower corner) is visible in your pagepeel. In my opinion, it is easy to use / modifiy provided images pageear_b.jpg and pageear_s.jpg.
- Now upload the pageear folder in your plugin directory of your wordpress files.
- Now login as admin in your wordpress dashboard, activate the plugin.
- Click the below image to see the pageear configuration.
If you have any installation problem, then let me know I will try to help you.

Good post. Will follow it up and let you know how it goes.
Also, you are quite persistent in your postings, which is a very good thing.
