Google, this week added a new dot com giant in its list of acquisitions. Google has acquired a CA-based online video startup called Omnisio.com. It was launched in March this year. Here users can mash up various YouTube clips and stitch them together to make their own videos or slideshare presentations with extra comments, audio, and images. This video site was started by three Australian entrepreneurs Ryan Junee, Julian Frumar and Simon Ratner. According to TechCrunch, Google has paid 15 million USD for this deal. Google has future plans to integrate this exciting video service with Youtube.

Now after this integration YouTube users will be able to mash up YouTube and other video content for use in blogs and Web sites. Now video owners may embed ads directly into their videos and Google could make it even easier by supplying the ads based on the tags embedded into the video, and at the appropriate points with spotlight and notes at specific points in the video, A Google official said.
