Google Chrome is vulnerable to carpet-bombing

in: Google

chrome.jpgInternet experts have reported that Google’s new Internet browser Chrome is vulnerable to carpet-bombing. It may expose the windows users to malicious hacker attacks. Raff has shown a harmless demo of the attack in action, showing how a Google Chrome users can be lured into downloading and launching a JAR (Java Archive) file that gets executed without warning. So it requires only two clicks of mouse to plant malware on Windows operating system. This is known as carpet bombing.

I hope Google will soon release a patch for this vulnerability in Chrome browser. Right now there is not much information on this issue in Chrome browser. As soon as I get any more information, I will publish them on abhisays. Till then enjoy Chrome and let me know how you feel about a new Internet Browser.
