This company has announced that Google co-founder Sergey Brin had paid $5 million to reserve a seat for the space tour. Space Adventures Ltd. has already sent five wealthy clients to the International Space Station since 2001, using Russian Soyuz spacecraft. Sergey said “I am a big believer in the exploration and commercial development of the space frontier, and am looking forward to the possibility of going into space,” Brin currently holds the position of President of Technology at Google and has a net worth estimated at $18.5 billion as of March 9, 2007, making him the 26th richest person in the world and the 5th richest person in the United States, together with Larry Page.
