In just 100 days after the release of Chrome Beta, Google has come up with first stable version of this browser. Now Chrome is no longer a beta version. The latest Chrome 1.0 browser is now available for download for Windows while Google engineers are working on the next version which will support Mac OS X and Linux. Also they are trying to provide users with some common browser features such as form auto fill and RSS support in next release. Within 100 days of launch, Google Chrome has more than 10 million active users around the world.
Google has already released 14 updates to the product. Now with the fifteenth release Google is taking off the “beta” label from Chrome. In this 15th release of Chrome, Google has made improvements in three key areas: better stability and performance of plug-ins (particularly video); additional speed, in terms of startup and rendering; and improved bookmark manager and privacy controls.
