Today I searched abhisays in Google, believe me I was stunned to see my site flagged with the title that “this website may harm your computer”. I don’t know much about it, but a few minutes ago any search result from Google started being flagged as malware with a message saying “This site may harm your computer”. Even Google’s own search engine website Google.com was flagged with this message. Clicking the message takes me to a support page from Google. This is the snap of that support page.

Normally, this warning message appears with search results Google has identified as sites that may install malicious software on your computer. However everything is fine now, but this problem lasted for around 15 minutes. “There was a fault. We don’t know the nature of it yet. Everything has been solved. We are still making initial enquiries, ” a Google spokesperson said to the news channels.
Some internet experts suggested this problem was caused by an outage at StopBadware.org. In 2007, Google partnered with stopbadware.org to check for malicious content on the web and alert users. It appears that the implementation of this integration was not tolerant of errors. If this is the reason Google needs to rethink its failsafe strategy for this data source.
