1717 PO Vacancies in SBI Associate Banks

According to Forbes, SBI or State Bank of India is 29th most reputable banking company in the world. The State Bank Group has more than 16000 branches. With an asset base of $250 billion and $195 billion in deposits, it is the largest bank in India. It has a market share among Indian commercial banks of about 20% in deposits and advances. Moreover, SBI accounts for almost one-fifth of the nation’s loans. State Bank of India has invited online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for the post of Probationary Officers (PO) (JMG-I) in its associate banks. The written examination will held on 7th March, 2010.

Probationary Officer (PO) : 1717 posts (SC-301,ST-289, OBC-459,.UR-668) (PH-25), in various 6 SBI Group Associate Banks, Qualification : 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWD) aggregate marks in class XII or Diploma course after 10th standard AND 55% (50%) aggregate marks in Graduation irrespective of Pass Course or Honours Course, Age : 21-30 years as on 31/01/2010. Relaxation as per rules., Pay Scale : Rs.10000-18240/-

Application Fee : Rs.500/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD). Candidates are required to go to any CBS Branch of State Bank of India and pay the amount of prescribes fees and get receipt from the branch.

  • Date of Written Examination : 07/03/2010
  • Receipt of Online Applications : 01/01/2010 to 31/01/2020

    The above eligibility criteria states that a person has to have 60% in 12th standard and 55% in graduation. I have 58% in 12th standard and 58% in graduation, will i be eligible for a bank P.O. post ?
