The Indian Job market seems to be flooded with vacancies in Public Sector Banks. Central Bank of India, an Indian government-owned public sector bank, one of the oldest and largest commercial banks in India, has also come up with new vacancies for PO and Specialist Officers. This bank was established in 1911 by Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala. It was the first commercial Indian bank completely owned and managed by Indians. In 1923, it acquired the Tata Industrial Bank in the wake of the failure of the Alliance Bank of Simla. In 1969, the Indian Government nationalized the bank on 19 July, together with 13 others private banks. The bank currently has 3,168 branches and 270 extension counters across 27 Indian states. At present Mr S Sridhar is the Chairman and Managing Director of Central Bank of India. - Law Officers : 70 posts in MMG-II Cadre, Age : 21-35 years, Pay Scale : Rs.13820-19920
