You must have seen the famous hollywood movie “Pulp Fiction”. Pulp Fiction is a super hit film by director Quentin Tarantino. It is a crime drama with rich, eclectic dialogue and ironic mix of humor and violence, and its host of cinematic and pop culture and bible references. Today in afternoon I enjoyed this movie with my friends. Two things that I always remember about this film, the first is the bible reference given by Samuel Jackson before killing someone and “You never can tell” song of the movie. No doubt, Pulp Fiction is regarded as one of the most significant films of its era. Other things which I always remember about this film are Jules and Vincent’s “Royale with Cheese” conversation. The scene of Travolta and Thurman’s dancing. The image of Travolta and Jackson’s characters standing side by side in suit and tie, pointing their guns.
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
Samuel Jackson (Jules) ritually recites what he describes as a biblical passage, Ezekiel 25:17, before he executes someone. in Pulp Fiction.
You never can tell Song by Elvis in Pulp Fiction
It was a teenage wedding and the old folks wished them well
You could see that Pierre did truly love the mademoiselle
And now the young monsieur and madame have rung the chapel bell
C’est la vie, say the old folk, it goes to show you never can tell
They furnished off an apartment with two rooms by themselves
The coolerator was crammed with TV dinners and ginger ale
But when Pierre found work the little money coming worked out well
C’est la vie, say the old folk, it goes to show you never can tell
They had a hi-fi phono, boy did they let it blast
Seven hundred little records, all rockin’ rhythm and jazz
But when the sun went down, the rapid tempo of the music fell
C’est la vie say the old folk, it goes to show you never can tell
They bought a souped up jittny, was a cherry red fifty three
They drove it down to Orleans to celebrate their anniversary
It was there where Pierre was wedded to the lovely Mademoiselle
C’est la vie say the old folk, it goes to show you never can tell
It was a teenage wedding and the old folks wished them well
You could see that Pierre did truly love the Mademoiselle
And now the young Monsieur and Madame have rung the chapel bell
C’est la vie say the old folk, it goes to show you never can tell
