Today, Delhi High Court has given a historical decision on gay and lesbian sex. The decision says that sexual relationship between persons of same sex is not an offence and the section 377 of Indian Penal Code is against fundamental rights of Indian citizens. The Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code which criminalises homosexuality was drafted in 1860 and it reads as follows.
“Whoever voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal shall be punished with imprisonment which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.”
The Delhi High Court’s bench comprising Chief Justice A P Shah and Justice S Murlidhar said in its decision “We declare that Section 377 of IPC in so far as it criminalises consensual sexual acts of adults in private is violative of Articles 14, 21 and 15 of the Constitution,”
I am completey shocked on this decision. If people like sleeping with child then why don’t this court legalize child sex. If someone loves to sleep with dogs and horses then go ahead legalize sex with animals. Homosexuality is un-natural and it should not be encouraged. This decision is likely to encourage Homosexuality in India which is basically sexual attraction or sexual behavior between people of the same sex.
In my opinion, Homosexuality is a disease, it is a Psychological and mental problem. Homosexuals should be treated with care and parents should try to make them normal by giving them proper counseling at initial stage of this disorder. Lesbians are sexy, and delicious. Plus it is genetic, they may have control over their actions, yet not over their feelings.
Recently most discussions are going on for GAY Legalization issue. But in my openion nothing is wrong when two person mutually agreed on but my worry is Sexual attraction for same gender is one kind of illness scientific world has to find out the reason for this and try to get solution of the illness. But for taking corrective actions debate is going for legalization or not ? that is not good any family members from inside not want that any Gay in their family. So prevention is better than cure
hey abhi.. lol same name well dude m doing law and i was at both the hc n sc whn dis decision was out.. it was not a shock but i was surprised whn it was passes. c wat the law said is tht it was an un natural offence. but what now is tht u can have it if u want but u have to hv consenusal sex in pvt .. it should be strictly pvt if done publicly they are still objections on it.. but yaar i feel to every 1 his own likes.. if u like cats n i like dogs thn wats d harm let 2 dog lovers enjoyy but yea i do agree with the fact tht children n every 1 will be more ok with it.. till it was still in hinding now it wont be so there u r totally rite.. specially in a country like outr it s something u hv to get used too .. it wil tk sme tym n all.. but lets c how the cookie crumbles.. cheers dude.. nice articles..
For the people thinking that Homosexuality is a disease should really educate themselves on this issue.
It is neither a mental or physical problem; in fact it isn’t a problem at all.
Traditional thinking should be abolished and rationalization should be inherited.
As a heterosexual, I do believe that the prejudice against gays should be condoned.
