in: India

Indian_Satellite_Moon.jpgEverything is ready. Indian space scientists are going to write history as ISRO is planning to launch its maiden spacecraft to moon Chandrayaan-I at the end of this year. It will orbit the moon for two years. This spacecraft will carry five Indian and six international experiments. The spacecraft has been completely assembled and at present under testing phase. ISRO scientists are testing its overall functionalities under extreme thermal and vacuum environments. There will be vibration and acoustic tests also to guarantee the safe launch of the satellite. After its successful launch ISRO will start developing Chandrayaan-II with the help of Russia.

The Indian Space Research Organization or ISRO is India’s national space agency for the development of technologies related to space and their application to India’s development. In addition to domestic payloads, it offers international launch services with its Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle and the GSLV. Due to ISRO, despite being a developing economy, India has effectively developed space technology which match the world standards and has applied it successfully for its rapid development and see today we are offering a variety of space services to developed nations.
