The Bharatiya Janata Party also known as BJP was founded in 1980. It is a major political party of India. The party has a strong relation with the Sangh Parivar, in which the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh plays a leading role. Whereas Indian National Congress also known as Congress Party is the oldest political party of India. It played pivotal role in Indian freedom movement. After independence in 1947, it became the nation’s dominant political party, challenged for leadership only in more recent decades. Hold on, I have no interest in telling you the complete boring history of both parties. Actually today I am going to show you the basic but funny difference between those two largest parties of India.
I will talk about the future of both the parties, for Congress it is Rahul Gandhi and for BJP the future is Rahul Mahajan. Interesting na, both Rahul.
See what Rahul Mahajan is doing in Bigg Boss reality show.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi is busy in his quest of real India. He is working like a poor labourer, toiling hard under a blazing Sun in Rajasthan, carrying big stones on his shoulders and extending a helping hand to the labourers. Even he also shared dal roti with the poor villagers. He is just following the principle of Gandhi that India lives in its villages. I feel it everyday and every moment that there exist two Indias, the rich and the poor. The rich lives in the metros and the poor in other places, there is a need to bridge the gap between the two,” he said.
Actually after visiting the Chamunda Devi temple in Jodhpur, Rahul came down to Kota and played the role of a poor labourer. This is what Rahul of Congress is doing whereas Rahul of BJP is enjoying life in Bigg Boss show. What do you think about this difference?
==> If you liked this post, then why not buy me a beer so I can cool off?

I don’t think we can compare both the rahul.
every one from the BJP is distancing him from rahul mahajan and u can not say he is the future of BJP.
rahul gandhi shows not realty of congress ,and rahul mahajan is not a party member of bjp ,if u want compare really bjp and congress then compare atal ji and manmohan singh
Hello brother,
I think the worst comparision I had ever seen,
I guess you already drunk you dont need any more beers, you better go sleep and read your comparison when you are out off hangover.
It is really funny to think that Rahul Mahajan is BJP’s future. BJP never supported nepotism. Rahul Mahajan cannot get a BJP ticket, even if he wants to. Rahul Mahajan is in no way related to BJP.
Rahul of Congress is as stupid as Rahul Mahajan. This guy came to politics just because he was born a Gandhi. Take out the surname and he would be a big zero. This guy has no vision, no ground experience and no views on national issues. He was campaigning for N-Deal and when asked about the full form of IAEA, he dint know. He was partying the night when Mumbai was attacked. All this is a mere show off. If he has so much potential then why hasn’t he put forward his views. It is really sad that this guy is seen as PM material.
CONGRESS-DELHI’S “GREATEST BETRAYAL” OF THE TAMILS – A REJOINDER
The piece ‘Congress-Delhi’s “greatest betrayal” of the Tamils’ in Merinews, 15 Jan 2009 exposed the double-talk tactics of Congress-Delhi to camouflage its partnership of the SL genocide and betrayal of its TN partners and Tamilians over this genocide right from the inception of the UPA rule in 2004.
Modus operandi of Congress-Delhi
To ascertain whether such tactics are continuing, the most recent official statements from Congress-Delhi sources are examined. These are: the President’s address to Parliament (Feb 2009), Chidambaram’s statement to the press on 15 February and Pranab’s post Colombo visit statement. Prima facie Pranab’s unhelpful Tamil cause stance hasn’t changed even in the President’s address to Parliament or Chidambaram’s statement. SL’s atrocities caused anguished horror in international capitals, but no such emotions are registered in Delhi and in any of these statements. Chidambaram ‘promises (only) to arrange a dialogue between Sri Lanka and LTTE to stop hostilities in the island nation if the government suspended military operations against the Tigers and the outfit laid down arms’ is most unhelpful when he also states that Congress-Delhi ‘cannot ask Sri Lanka to negotiate with a militant group, as its policy is not to negotiate with the militants even in Kashmir’. (How truthful! – a strange new line for Congress-Delhi’s anti-Tamil crusade).
Chidambaram demeans India’s handling of Kashmiri militants
By equating India’s fight against Kashmiri militants with the world renowned brutal SL genocide, Chidambaram compromises India’s national interest and damaging to India’s moral standing in a dispute still in the boil internationally. The explanation for Congress-Delhi’s reluctance to request SL to negotiate with the Tamil militants appears awkward when it actively partners (covertly or overtly) SL in the genocide. SL benefited most from supplies of (and funds to procure) lethal arms (cluster bombs, phosphorous bombs), commandos, equipment and above all super-class intelligence. Gruesome pictures of the atrocities caused by such Congress-Delhi supplies are in the public domain world-wide. Further-more Congress did in fact force SL to negotiate with the same Tamil militants during the IPKF days. Did India apply this principle to its other neighbours in particular when India acted as the mid-wife delivering the new Bangladesh, the Baluchi rebellion in Pakistan, Nepal and Myannar? Chidambaram’s keenness to please his SL patrons is extra-ordinary as it also carries a promise to carry this message ‘to every nook and corner of the state’ (TN). Isn’t this sufficient encouragement to SL to speed ahead with its genocide, finish off the Tamil resistance and bury the ‘Tamil cause’ nuisance for ever?
Rajiv family’s revenge lust dictates Congress-Delhi’s anti-Tamil stance
At the TN level the onus of elaborating on Pranab/Chidambaram messages fell on Thangabalu, the TNCC chief. The Hindu on 30 October 2008 quoting Thangabalu reported: ‘On charges that India was extending military aid to Sri Lanka, he said radars had been given to the island government only to protect its territory and not to use them against the Tamils”. The irony is that Indian radar operators were injured in SL front line positions. The simplistic “It was not possible to use a monitoring equipment to attack the Tamils,” hides away the critical importance of battle front intelligence in war. To dampen the TN Tamilians (labeled ‘LTTE supporters’) anger, Thangabalu says the Congress party will not forgive the Sri Lankan militant outfit for its role in the assassination of Rajiv and act against forces that create problems for Indian unity. Thangabalu’s ‘not forgive’ wow reveals a ‘revenge lust’ that is essentially un-Indian and against basic Indian dharmic tradition or culture. Does the ‘revenge lust’ require the sacrifice of lives and sufferings of tens of thousands of Tamils to appease the soul of a killed Rajiv? Lives of Sikhs were sacrificed after Indra’s killing in a Rajiv/Congress inspired, SL style violence. Thangabalu’s statement has Rajiv family’s Congress-Delhi stamp of approval. Thangabalu, a TN politician suddenly foisted displacing sectarians in the TNCC leadership position has to ensure that Rajiv family’s ‘desires/passions’ are satiated as a priority. Echo’s of Thangabalu mantra are repeated by the likes of Chos, Jayalalithas, Subramania Swamys and sectarians in the Hindu group.
Chidambaram’s tactic to channel Tamilian anger towards TN UPA partners
The openly hostile anti ‘Tamil cause’ rhetoric from a sectarian clique that has a stranglehold in the TN Congress was revolting and angered mainstream Tamilians throughout the state. Chidambaram’s call is to divert Tamil anger away from Congress towards its UPA TN partners. Hence the acts that undermine the TN UPA coalition partner and its decades long standing as champions of the Tamils.
TNCC Congress chief’s laboured denial of Congress-Delhi’s overt/ covert support for the SL genocide was frustrated as more and more covert support for the SL genocide became overt with Congress-Delhi’s poor handling of the exposures. This undermined public confidence in what Congress-Delhi states or claims it does. Hence Congress’s expression of concern for Tamil civilians is the subject of ridicule. SL also relished leaking details of the support it receives from Congress-Delhi.
Echoes of Pranab (Rajiv family’s proxy) and anti-Tamil cause rhetoric in TN
Thangabalu attempts to re-inforce Pranab’s anti Tamil/LTTE rhetoric (as reported on January 27) that ‘India possess no sympathy for the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) and its supporters ..the civilian Tamils must be prevented from becoming victims in Sri Lanka.’ smack a likeness to Chidambaram’s hard heartedness; avoiding even civil expression of anguish for the suffering Tamil civilians in SL. Thangabalu’s ‘not forgive’ wow and Pranab’s adversarial ‘no sympathy’ for ..‘its (LTTE) supporters’ have much in common. These forewarn Tamilians who angered by Congress-Delhi’s support of SL genocide engage in massive protests across TN leaving Congress totally isolated as outcasts in the TN polity. The logic behind Congress-Delhi’s adversarial anti-Tamil rhetoric is to get the Tamils/LTTE to surrender as a quick fix to kill off the Tamil resistance/LTTE and the Tamil cause abandoning the affected Tamils to cannibalistic extinction or eternal oppressive servitude.
In the President’s message the call to Tamils/LTTE for talks seemingly repudiates the hawkish Pranab/Congress-Delhi approach. PM Singh’s pains were to soothe the hurt feelings of Tamilians and TN leaders. Pranab apparently speaking for and with authority of the Rajiv family uses his vociferous anti-Tamil/LTTE rhetoric to prove his credentials as a Rajiv family loyalist in Congress-Delhi. His close advisors are the same South Block sectarians who in the 1980’s turned Colombo into its playfield and dragged Rajiv into the messy 1987 Indo-SL Accord. Hence in Colombo (after other South Block official’s visits) Pranab avoided any reference to the ceasefire call, the announced mission that PM Singh specifically committed, to the Tamlians/TN politicians deputing the task to Pranab. As an aspiring Prime Minister, Pranab’s posture as an anti-Tamil hawk in Congress-Delhi does make sense that he administered PM Singh and the TN politicians a sharp rebuke first by unduly delaying his Colombo visit and later totally omitting the Tamilians/TN ceasefire call with Colombo. In effect under direction of the Rajiv family, PM Singh was overruled giving rise to posers over ‘who indeed is the de facto PM in Congress-Delhi today’. PM Singh was soon after in hospital.
South Block returns to its 1980’s game plan – the anti-Tamil/Dravida crusade
Hence Pranab’s strident uncompromising anti-Tamil/LTTE message is not in sync with the tenor of the even handed message in the President’s address calling on both the SL regime and Tamils/LTTE to the negotiating table. This was to re-assure the TN-UPA partners whose standing as role model Tamil champions was being surreptitiously undermined by the Rajiv family loyalists (and the South Block). Other pro-Tamil cause groups were emerging posing a serious threat to the TN UPA partner’s reputed role as champions of Tamils, earned after decades of struggle and sacrifice. That role as Tamil champions was becoming untenable when Congress-Delhi, its principal UPA partner was partnering the SL genocide. Pranab, a Rajiv family loyalist and the sectarian Southern Block had much in common as recipients of lavish graces and much more from SL. Congress-Delhi inherited this deal style polity as a Rajiv legacy. SL’s investments began to bear fruit when Congress returned to power in 2004 with the Rajiv family’s stranglehold of it intact. As long as Congress-Delhi is captive to the Rajiv family, Congress-Delhi’s stance is unlikely to change making Tamilians angrier and the position of UPA TN partners more and more untenable.
The re-emergence of the influence of the sectarian South Block (with a deep dislike of mainstream Tamilians) specifically explains Congress-Delhi’s hawkish anti-Tamil stance. Pranab’s words ‘its (LTTE) supporters’ openly forewarns mainstream Tamilians and politicians against involvement in the protests. Pranab who did not press for a ceasefire returned with a deceptive ‘fire free zones’ (Chidambaram lauds it) kite camouflaging Congress-Delhi’s call to the Tamils/LTTE to surrender quickly. The manner in which the ‘fire free zone’ proposal was conveyed (no courtesy call, except a memo sent days after) to CM Karunanithi, a revered elder statesman and a champion of the Tamils was a rude snub. Such precedent setting Pranab’s conduct approved by the Rajiv family encourages political players in SL (Fonsekas) to get away unscathed after insulting the TN politicians as ‘jokers’. These led a leading analyst (Nateri Adigal) to explain why ‘Tamil Nadu (is) being forced to go the Eelam way’.
The most gruesome carnage of Tamils fails to move the hard hearted Congress-Delhi
The gruesome and revolting carnage in SL stirs the conscience of humanity. This reaction is totally absent amongst the Congress-Delhi crowd. Instead the Rajiv killing is flaunted to condemn the entire Tamil community to its fate. Sectarians in the established media in Chennai brutally character assassinated Rajiv over the Bofors scandal until his very death; yet this cabal’s mourning Rajiv’s killing 19 years late is to justify the killings of Tamils in such numbers as sacrificial lambs to appease the soul they seem to mourn for. The sectarian cabal can no longer pretend to mirror the views, feeling and aspirations of mainstream Tamilians. Yet the sectarian TNCC strives to exploit the Tamil cause by climbing the TN non Congress Tamil cause bandwagon wherever possible, however much Tamilians resent this harshly and publicly.
Electoral arithmetic – need for non Congress TN partner to re-think its future in UPA
DMK lost in TN (1991) in the immediate aftermath of Rajiv’s killing; but nationally votes cast for Congress also fell. The over-rated Rajiv factor in unlikely to restore the electoral slump (today at a meager 23 percent) in the post scandal tainted Rajiv Congress rule. Indra’s killing led to a surge in electoral support to 49.8 percent.
The Tamil cause is not totally lost; a non-Congress Delhi is likely to change this. The lustre in its Tamil championship will shine when TN UPA distances itself from Congress-Delhi. Sprucing up its tired image and emerging stronger and re-invention of its 1960’s Dravidian roots will improve its mettle to fight off the heavily rearmed and hawkish SL (thanks to Congress-Delhi) that is unlikely to stop at merely harassing or taking its hapless TN fishermen captives. The threats are real should another Congress-Delhi in the Centre TN continue to ignore Tamilian sensitivities to betray TN for amorously courting an over armed Sri Lanka.
PURAV
Rahul is no Gandhi. Indra married a Feroze Khan. His son Rajiv also not a Gandhi married an Italian (one Maria with an Italian name). How the Indian public including the intelligensia is so gullible enough to aceept this as gospel truth is a mystery and will remain so given the nature of Indian politics. Rahul is a Rahul Khan and Rajiv, a Rajiv Khan and Sonia, a Sonia Rajiv Khan.
hi,
I dont know if any comparison can be made between Congress and BJP. Congress has ruled the country for almost 50 yrs post independence, while BJP got some opportunity during the downtime of congress. Congress is party of highly rich and very poor people, who are the major voters in the country. It will be very difficult for any party in india to beat congress. The reason, all its policies are based for majority of voting population. Rich will become richer and poor will stay in the same lane. I am not criticising any party. after all these are policies, and every thing is fair in politics. BJP is almost a dead party. I dont know if there is any good leader in BJP who can be called as leader for the country. The vision of BJP is very narrow and limited to very few people. Although BJP implemented very good plans during their short term stay, they lask policies of popularity, which can sustain them.
Well people of India has to choose between the bad and the worst.
