  friend, u r talking about only 2 example. but u know this is free social networking web. which provide way that u can find u friend of schooling time, collage timeing. u can know about other or his his friend and orkut work as like chain system, just join 1 member and u can access thousend of friend.

  yes, i agree that people misuse this technical advancement.But every thing has good or bad effects.take the example of an human ,hey have bad o gud habbits both.IN yourself there are a lot of bad things .but u don’t leave care abt yourself.In same way,It all depends on us,hw we can use it in right way.Instead of banned orkut ,try to improve urself……

  Ya i think it should be banned, because in orkut people are just wasting their time. Just tell me if some wants to communicate with some one else, then why not use your cell, email. Then why orkut ? Because, in orkut you can do five minute’s work in one haour ? Stupid sense. Another thing, what the hell words are used in the srcap, hardly you will find decency there. Every one is reading the scrap then what sense he will get about the person. Educational institutions should strictly ban such stupid sites. Govt. will not take this matter in it’s hand. We are the people who can stop these things.

  Yeah dats true….dat there are untoward incidents happening b’coz of Orkut….But i rather feel there should be some more authentication tools to be employed by orkut , by which any individual can be marked…
  Moreover the server ammin shldnt allow insane or trouble causing posts to be posted on the web….
  bANNING Orkut is not the answer, but impprovising on web deployemnet needs to be closely monitored…

  cant agree with u … u question orkut coz of its negative impact … u r telling its a misuse of technology ha … then probably u should first think of other technologies that r being misused like the weapon technology … go n ban the smoking habit of youths, that’s much much more dangerous, i hope u know that …

  one more thing som1 wrote that we should use ph call to communicate with friends … but if the logic n reason of banning orkut is ryt for u then u should also think of banning cell ph … i hope u r not ignorant of the fact that the young generation spent most of their time, talking in cell ph … dont u think its also a waste of time n money … again i hope u r aware that the radiation of cell phs may cause damage … then y dont u favour banning cell phs as well …

  sorry i wrote too much … but i feel it was necessary, not bcoz i like orkut but coz i like technology … n no way i can favour the banishment of any technology by looking into its negative impact unless its the case of nuclear weapons …

  It must most definitely be banned.
  And if people are still intent on using it, maybe they can make it a paid service, so that anyone having an orkut id can be easily traced. This will totally cut down the fake profile problem.
  When the identity of a profile person is not anonymous, then the anti social individuals will not even venture into social networking.
