The true story of Internet

Internet-Story.jpgToday Internet has become part and parcel of our life. I can’t imagine a single day without internet. The Internet carries various information resources and services, such as electronic mail, online chat, file transfer and file sharing, online gaming, and the inter-linked hypertext documents and other resources of the World Wide Web. But have you ever thought how all these things happened? How internet became so big? Yesterday my friend told me about a documentary on story of Internet on Discovery Channel. At the same time, I searched on YouTube and got the complete series. Here the host John Heilemann explores the interactive nature of the modern World Wide Web, from early successes like Napster and the still popular Craigslist, to more recent phenomena like the social networking web sites like MySpace and Facebook.
