Some facts about Adsense

I have started using ads by google to make money through this blog. Adsense has become number one source of revenue for new websites or blogs. You may see these ads on almost every blog in blogosphere. I am giving some details about google adsense in this article.

Once you’ve added the code to one website, you can also add it to more of your sites or pages that comply with adsense program policies (http://www.google.com/adsense_newpub1/policies ) Actually, the Google code will work for any page or site.

If you see ads that you’d prefer not to display for example you would not like displaying ads of your competitor website. You can prevent these ads from appearing on your site by using your Competitive Ad Filter to block them. Visit http://www.google.com/adsense_newpub1/urlfilter for details

The ads you’re displaying on your site are a combination of cost-per-click (CPC) and cost-per-thousand-impression (CPM) ads. You’ll get paid for each valid user click on a CPC ad and each time a user views a CPM ad. Keep in mind that you won’t generate any earnings from clicking on your own ads or asking others to click, which are prohibited by program policies of Google Adsense.

For an overview of our payment schedule and requirements for getting paid, visit http://www.google.com/adsense_newpub1/payments.

If you’ve had the code on your site for more than 48 hours, and you’re still seeing public service ads or ads that aren’t relevant to your site content, it might be for a number of reasons – visit http://www.google.com/adsense_newpub1/relevant. for details.
