Today I saw the CAT Advertisement in Times of India. So the final notification of CAT 2009 is out. You can also see the demo of online Question paper on IIM Bangalore website. As we all know this time CAT, the largest entrance examination for MBS aspirants, has become online. Now you have to bell the CAT with a RAT(mouse). CAT 2009 Vouchers will be available for sale from September 9, 2009 till October 1 2009. Application cost is 1400/- for General & OBC category candidates and 700 /- for SC/ST. You can buy the application from AXIS Bank, IIMs and download from catiim.in. The duration of exam will be 150 minutes or 2.5 hours. Candidates will be seated at a desk with a computer terminal and serial-numbered scratch paper will be provided for calculations. These things must be left on the desk at the end of the test. During the online CAT exam, a count-down clock will be shown on your computer screen. CAT 2009 Scores will be available for download at catiim.in from 22 January 2010.
Eligibility criteria for CAT 2009 – 50% in bachelors degree (final year students need to get a certificate), 45% (SC/ST)

How to Register ::
Just log on to www.catiim.in between 9 September – 1 October 2009 to register and schedule for CAT 2009. You will need a valid email account and the Serial No. and Voucher No. found on your CAT 2009 voucher. Upon completion of registration/scheduling, an Admit Card will be sent via email. Print this out and bring it along on your test day.

You may select from a list of 30 locations – Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Durgapur, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Patna, Pune, Ranchi, Siliguri and Varanasi.
