Online CAT exam Servers crashed at all centers across India

in: MBA

So CAT 2009 started with a big crash. Today the server which was supposed to conduct the online CAT exam, crashed due to heavy load. It was the first time the CAT was conducted across India on online computer systems. Students are surprised to see the behaviour of much hyped Prometric online site. Now experts are questioning the technical feasibility of the online CAT. CAT 2009 exam was canceled at the centres in these cities- Bhopal, Lucknow, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkatta Indore and New Delhi. An American firm, Prometric, which has developed the online examination system for CAT, said it would be able to disclose the problem only after 2 P.M.
