The America’s one of the greatest and most famous rock band Aerosmith will perform in India’s film hub of Mumbai for the first time ever.

This has been confirmed by the group members in a posting on their official website. They are likely to perform live in India in June this year.

Actually their performance in India would be a part of their wider tour which would see them perform in Europe and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. This famous rock band is very popular in India and this should definitely be a grand occasion for music lovers in the nation.
The band is currently working on new material for their next album, their 15th studio album, which is most likely to be released in fall of 2007. Additionally, it was confirmed in early 2007 that the band will be also touring Latin America and Europe in spring and summer of 2007, respectively. This will be the band’s first touring venture outside North America and Japan in eight years. On Monday, February 19th, the band performed at London’s Hard Rock Cafe to promote their upcoming European tour which includes a night in Hyde Park as part of the Hyde Park Calling festival sponsored by Hard Rock Cafe.
