This week Janos Baranyai, a Hungarian weightlifter in news but not for good reason. Actually he injured his right arm as he was competing in the Group B men’s 77kg category at Beijing Olympics here on Wednesday. However there is no fracture, just dislocation of two bones. He has also participated at 2006 World Championships and 2007 World Championships. After the accident he was immediately sent to the China-Japan Friendship Hospital, which is among the 24 medical service providers for the Beijing Olympic Games. According to recent updates, Baranyai is expected to leave the hospital and return to the athletes’ village and in three to four months he can continue to lift weights.
