Today everyone on this planet earth is talking about swine flu as it has affected. The swine flu is spreading at a very high pace, there are chances that it can become a pandemic, or a worldwide epidemic. This influenza-like illness were first detected in three areas of Mexico, then within a week its presence was soon confirmed in various Mexican states and in Mexico City. Moreover some isolated cases and suspected cases were identified elsewhere in Mexico, the U.S., and several other countries. So let’s find out what the hell is this swine flu? It is basically a respiratory disease which is mainly caused by influenza type A which infects swine, or pigs.
The flu can spread most likely through coughing or sneezing. The symptoms of swine flu are fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, chills and fatigue. According to American doctors two drugs Tamiflu and Relenza can be used for the treatment of swine flue. But there is an old saying that prevention is better than cure. So Cleanliness, good hygiene, washing hands, covering nose while coughing or sneezing are some of the ways of reducing the chances of spreading this dangerous flu. People who work with poultry and swine, especially people with intense exposures, are at increased risk

The Mexican government has confirmed 16 deaths from a swine flu and they are investigating 50 further possible deaths. The geographical spread of the outbreaks is worrying – while 13 of the 20 deaths were in Mexico City, the rest were spread across Mexico – four in central San Luis Potosi, two up near the US border in Baja California, and one in southern Oaxaca state.
