I have added a favicon to my blog abhisays.com. Actually favicon is a little picture beside the URL of any website or blog. If your blog has a favicon then the visitors can quickly identify your site in their Favorite folder among the other bookmarked site. For converting my .jpeg image to .ico, I have used Chami.com’s Favicon From Pics page. It provides a simple interface to convert any image to its corresponding favicon. You have to just browse the image from your pc or labtop and submit, then this tool generates its favicon. Now you have to download that favicon. After this upload the favicon on your server(I have uploaded this favicon in abhisays directory). Add this <link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”favicon.ico” > in header.php of your WordPress template. Save the options. So here comes the favicon.
