Now WordPress has become a popular tool for designing a news portal or magazine type website. As a result there are so many magazine style themes for wordpress. Unfortunately most of them are paid themes, but after some rigorous search on google I have found these seven themes which can be used to develop a magazine style website or new portal of world class. All these themes are free for download and are easily customizable to suit the needs of a magazine type blog or website.
