Bhopal is known as the City of Lakes as its landscape is dotted with a number of man-made as well as natural lakes. It has two very beautiful lakes, collectively known as the Bhoj Wetland. These lakes are the Upper Lake (built by King Bhoj) and the Lower Lake.
