Time 100 is an annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world, as assembled by Time. Now due to huge popularity of this list, it has become an annual event. In the list, people are recognized for changing the world, for better or for worse. This year there are four categories: Leaders, Heroes, Artists and Thinkers. Within each category, the 25 most influential people, with a grand total of 100. There are 9 Indians in the list including Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Chetan Bhagat, Sachin Tendulkar, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Amartya Sen, Rahul Singh, Atul GAwande, Sanjit Roy and P N Samy.
