in: Internet

History of InternetToday we will look into the history of internet. So, have you ever thought, who is the inventor of internet, which is the first website of world?, which is the oldest registered .com domain? This article will answer all these questions. Tim Berners-Lee, a scientist at CERN, invented the World Wide Web (WWW) in 1989. The earlier aim of world wide web was to meet the demand for automatic information sharing between scientists working in different universities and institutes all over the world. Cern is an European Organization for Nuclear Research, which has more than 2,500 employees, as well as some 7,931 scientists and engineers from different parts of the world.

The first ever web browser was also an editor, making the web an interactive medium, the problem was that it only ran on the NeXTStep operating system.
