Yesterday I got the online issue of ‘People’ magazine with the love affair of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone being the cover story. There I read the how the couple confessed about how they met and the person who was ‘actually’ instrumental in bringing them together. If you read this issue then you will observe that very soon Ranbir Kapoor and girlfriend Deepika Padukone will be tying the knot of marriage. However the couple is not disturbed with the gossips regarding Deepika’s connection with Indian cricketers and link of Ranbir with his first actress Sonam Kapoor. Even in an interview given to a news daily, Deepika said
“Within the next five years I hope to be Mrs Kapoor and the leading lady of Bollywood.” It was love at first sight for the couple and they struck a chord even before their first films were released. We met through mutual friends and we fell for each other right away but we needed time for our love to grow before we made a serious commitment’.
Ranbir has already proposed to her during the release of ‘Om Shanti Om’and Deepika has said ‘Yes’. They are very happy with the relationship and their parents too are happy and their relationship is growing under the family consent.

Good for both of them. I think they compliment each other. But, I feel that it’ll take a while for Ranbir to catch up to Deepika’s success. I just hope movie makers don’t put them together for silly movies which is only going to kill their popularity. Hope to see both of them in some substantial roles.
