Rajinikanth is one of the most popular and influential actor of Indian cinema. He was paid Rs. 26 crores (about $6.25 million USD) for his latest blockbuster movie Sivaji: The Boss. Actually he is the highest paid actor in Asia after Jackie Chan. Millions of Indians are fan of his special dialog delivery style. Also, he has notable political influence in TamilNadu. He has also acted in many Hollywood and Bollywood movies. Recently I watched his super hit movie, Sivaji : the Boss. The movie revolves around a rich software architect Sivaji, who returns India after finishing his work in US. He decides to give free medical treatment and education to the people of his state. But he faced many problems due to one affluent and powerful businessman, Adiseshan. Finally, Sivaji is left with no option but to fight the system in his own way.
However, I found this movie completely logic less and absurd plots and story. No doubt, it has magical touch of Rajinikanth, that is why it became one of the most successful movies of South Indian film industry. But one thing I found interesting about this movie. This is nothing but makeup of Rajinikanth. When I compared the Sivaji, the protagonist of the movie with the Rajinikanth, the actor, I saw the huge difference. Let me share that difference with you.
Rajinikanth in Sivaji.
Rajinikanth in real life.
This is really amazing, I am still surprised how a bald old man is turned into a youth. Kudos to makeup team of Sivaji.
