He first gained popularity in the early 1970s as the "angry young man" of Hindi cinema, and has since appeared in over 180 Indian films in a career spanning more than four decades. Once upon a time, a famous French director François Truffaut called him a "one-man industry" when he saw his dominance of the movie scene in the 1970s and 1980s. BBC rated him as the star of the millennium. This fact is also evident from the posters of his movies. Today, I am going to share the biggest collection of posters that showcase Hindi cinema’s biggest star, Amitabh Bachchan.

Film posters in India have played an important role in creating a colorful and vibrant buzz around cinema. As film memorabilia, the poster operates in public memory literally like a device that triggers off a series of associations linked to cinema, stars, stories, public spaces, events, music and more.
