Global FMCG giant Unilever appointed Harish Manwani as its Chief Operating Officer as part of its global reorganization in the business structure of the company. Manwani graduated from Mumbai University. He also obtained Master’s Degree in Management studies at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) and studied Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. In 1976, he joined the then Hindustan Lever Limited. So this is one more example where an Indian manager has got success in getting one of top positions in a global corporation.
