20 Old and Rare Photos of Mahatma Gandhi

Mahatma Gandhi does not need any introduction, at least in India. He was the pre-eminent political and ideological leader of India during the Indian independence movement. He was the first man in the world history who used the method of non-violent resistance against the tyrannical foriegn rule. Gandhi not only led India to its independence but also inspired several movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. He lived modestly in a self-sufficient residential community and wore the traditional Indian dhoti and shawl, woven with yarn he had hand spun on a charkha. He ate simple vegetarian food, and also undertook long fasts as means of both self-purification and social protest. I am going to share 15 rarest of the rare photos of Mahatma Gandhi.
