Digvijay Singh Controversial Quotes and Comments

Yesterday, Digvijay Singh called BJP as a party of "nachaniyon (dancers)", he also added that the party leaders violated the sanctity at the samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi and should apologize. "The way in which party leaders breached the sanctity of Rajghat by dancing there is condemnable. The party should tender an apology to people. Yeh nachaniyon ki party kab se ho gayi" (When did BJP become a party of dancers)"? he said. This is not first controversial comment by Digvijay Singh. Today I have come up with the big list of his controversial comments and quotes.

Last week, he called yoga guru, Baba Ramdev a "cheater". He said "Ramdev duping people for ages, now wanted to cheat the government." He also justified the police midnight action at Ramlila Maidan and claimed that Baba was allowed to conduct a yoga shivir at Ramlila Maidan, but he (Ramdev) started illegal protest there. It was not his first comment on Baba Ramdev. Earlier he criticised Ramdev’s fast as calling his (Baba’s) indefinite fast as a "five-star satyagraha" sponsored by RSS and VHP to divert people’s attention from "Sanghi terror".

Just couple of days of  killing of Osama Bin Laden, Digvijay Singh stated in a press conference that "even the worst of criminals should be buried or cremated according to their faith". This statement was criticized even by senior members of the Congress Party itself as communal and with an eye for pandering to the Muslim community.

Digvijay Singh has consistently taken a public stance against Right-Wing Hindu Groups like the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Bajrang Dal accusing them of being involved in terrorist activities. He compared RSS with the Nazis he said that The RSS, in the garb of its nationalist ideology, is targeting Muslims the same way Nazis targeted Jews in the 1930s. Israel had taken grave exception to this comment. He also accused the RSS of being involved in a number of terrorist strikes across the country. Moreover, he demanded a CBI enquiry into the mysterious murder of Sunil Joshi, an RSS activist accused of being involved in the Ajmer Dargah attack, alleging that Joshi was murdered because "he knew too much".

So friends, Digivjay Singh is a man who respects Islamic terrorist Osama bin Laden and call Baba Ramdev a thug. Its worst kind of politics Digvijay singh has been practicing , I  am just wondering how people with such an attitude are tolerated by the Congress Party. What are your viewpoints on this?
