Rahul Gandhi vs. Narendra ModiThe debate has started. Who should be the next Prime Minister of India? Narendra Modi or Rahul Gandhi. Today I am going to compare Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi. One hand, We have a true nationalist and self-made man, Narendra Modi, who is currently the best administrator and the most popular leader in the country. On the other hand, we have the so called scion of Congres Party. His biggest qualification is his surname. This time, India has to choose between Yuvraj Rahul Gandhi and charismatic Narendra Modi. Who do you think has a better chance of making it to the post of The Prime Minister Of India ?

Narendra Modi vs. Rahul Gandhi – Whom do you want to see as the next Prime Minister?
Rahul Gandhi Narendra Modi Remarks
Age 42 62 Clearly, Narendra Modi looks to be the obvious choice as far as the age is concerned. For example, Jawaharlal Nehru was around 60 when he became the first Prime Minister of India. Vajpayee was 70 plus when he became the Prime Minister.
Current Position MP & General Secretary (Congress Party) Chief Minister of Gujarat Modi has greater administrative experience. He is the most capable leader of current generation. He has taken Gujarat on the path of development and made it a model state.
Political Philosophy Centre-Left Centre-Right Modi’s politics is the need of the hour. India needs a strong and visionary leader at the centre.
Media Relationship Very low-profile, negligible interaction with media. Confident and adept in the art of media management. I have never seen Rahul Gandhi talking about any ongoing economic crisis or inflation or fuel price hike or any challenges country facing. Indiahas faced several challenges, so many issues have come up, but I have not heard any serious opinion on these from him. The truth is in the last eight years, we have not heard Rahul Gandhi speaking confidently infront of media. Occasionally, he has read out statements here and there.
Corruption Charges N/A NIL Modi has reputation as an honest leader who has not allowed corruption to flourish under his rule.
Leadership Skills Directly responsible for party’s poor performance in Bihar and UP state elections. He has no clear vision to lead the nation, Narendra Modi does not loose touch with the people at the ground level. This helps him identify early on if anything is going wrong and helps him make the necessary corrections. He is a true leader. Modi is a true national leader. No one can match his record as an effective administrator, his achievements in developing the economy ofGujaratand his reputation as an honest leader. People clearly view him as a leader who carries the courage of his convictions, whose position on terrorism is tough and unyielding, who will take a strong line against India’s enemies. In a survey conducted in 28 cities across the country by a Hindi news channel and Nielsen, Modi has emerged as the favourite ahead of even Rahul Gandhi and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.
Development Record N/A According to Financial Times, not only has Mr. Modi led an economic transformation built on the supply of electricity and improving roads, he has pulled off a remarkable rebranding of the state According to Time magazine, when people think of someone who can bring India out of the mire of chronic corruption and inefficiency — of a firm, no-nonsense leader who will set the nation on a course of development that might finally put it on par with China— they think of Modi
Vision of the future No idea. His dream for India encompasses an extensive range – one that vitally fosters agricultural research, protection of the environment, infrastructure as the lifeline of industry and global investments. In short, the emergence of a new and happy society celebrating the endless festival of life! The country needs leader like Narendra Modi who is clear in his vision and idea about India.
Oratory He is uncommunicative, robotic, murmers when he speaks and not dynamic as a leader. Has poor oratory skills. Modi is is a powerful orator, an avid reader and an original thinker. Millions of followers of Modi will love to see him hoisting tricolour and delivering speech at Red Fort in 2014.
Twitter/
Facebook followers
He is not on Twitter. He has 174,031 followers on Facebook, out of which only 386 are active. It looks like most of his followers on Facebook are fake. Modi has around 2 million followers on Twitter and Facebook. Narendra Modi has redefined politics, performance and principles. His distinct style of work and functioning is exemplary.
