Today I am going to discuss a top level Apache project, Struts. It is an open-source web application framework for developing Java EE web applications. Burj Dubai which is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the tallest man-made structure ever built. Its height is 818 m (2,684 ft). Its construction began on 21 September 2004, and the tower is expected to be completed in 2 months from now. It is being constructed by a South Korean company, Samsung Engineering & Construction, which also built the Petronas Twin Towers and the Taipei 101. The tower is designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, which also designed the Willis Tower in Chicago, Illinois and 1 World Trade Center in New York City, among numerous other famous high-rises. Raja Ravi Varma was one the greatest Indian painters in 19th century. He was from the princely state of Travancore. His paintings are perfect example of the fusion of Indian traditions with the techniques of European academic art. He is mainly remembered for his paintings of beautiful sari-clad Indian women. In 1873, he won the first prize in the Vienna Art Exhibition. This award brought him world-wide recognition. He travelled throughout India in search of subjects for his paintings. He often modeled Hindu Goddesses on beautiful South Indian women. He achieved recognition from the paintings on the epics of the Mahabharata and Ramayana. He is particularly noted for his paintings depicting episodes from the story of Dushyanta and Shakuntala, and Nala and Damayanti, from the Mahabharata. Last year, Bangalore International Airport was renamed as Bengaluru International Airport (BIA) and relocated to 4 km south of Devanahalli, which is around 40 km from central Bangalore.
