An e-mail client or e-mail reader is a front end computer program which is mainly used to manage e-mail. However, I prefer to use Louts Notes. The Lotus Notes client is not only used as an email client, but also acts as an instant messaging client (for Lotus Sametime), browser, notebook, and calendar/resource reservation client, as well as a platform for interacting with collaborative applications. Now a days, Notes also provides blogs, wikis, RSS aggregators, CRM and Help Desk systems, and organizations can build a variety of custom applications for Notes using Domino Designer. List of Old Doordarshan TV shows and Serials

doordarshan.jpgThe 80s was the era of Doordarshan with soaps like Hum Log, Buniyaad and comedy shows like Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi which made Doordarshan a household name. Circus, Gul Gulshan Gulfam and Nukkad are some of the serials that come instantly to my mind when I think of the good old days of Doordarshan. Those were phenomenal days when people gathered in crowds to watch the telecast of these serials. The characters of Ramayan and Mahabharat were almost worshiped like God and Goddess throughout the country.

Other popular programs included Hindi film songs based programs like Chitrahaar and Rangoli and crime thrillers like Karamchand, Byomkesh Bakshi, Tehkikaat and Janki Jasoos. This is the big list of Old Doordarshan TV shows and serials.

Actually, the image of Helix Nebula which is taken with a giant telescope at the European Southern Observatory, looks like Eye of God. This amazing object is a shell of gas and dust that has been blown off by a faint central star. The Helix is a sun-like star and is in its final explosion stage before it retires into a white dwarf. Even our solar system will have the same fate after 5 billion years.

Who is hiring in this economic recession?

in: India

Jobs.jpgLast week, Indian Government announced that around 500,000 Indians have lost their jobs and almost 25,000 have returned home after losing their jobs in US companies. Now job-seekers are in search of companies which are still hiring in this period of economic recession. Don’t you think it is silly question. Layoff announcements are piling up and unemployment numbers are reaching the sky but I am talking about companies which are still hiring. According to rediff, the leading Indian portal, India Inc’s hiring plans saw a marginal increase in January 2009, with the PSUs, telecom, banking, education and hospitality sectors showing a marked improvement. Other industries including legal, government and defence continued to see an increase in jobs.

National Informatics Centre (NIC) of the Department of Information Technology is providing network backbone and e-Governance support to Central Government, State Governments, UT Administrations, Districts and other Government bodies. Then why I am trying for job in public sector or better say Sarkari Naukri. Earlier people in India used to think if you want to earn more money, rapid growth in corporate ladder, then its better to join private sector or MNCs.
