Shashi Tharoor and Sunanda Pushkar Wedding Pictures

Finally the former Union minister of state for external affairs Shashi Tharoor tied the knot with his Dubai-based fiance Sunanda Pushkar on Sunday. It was a typical Malayali wedding ceremony. The marriage was held in the presence of Tharoor’s 94-year-old grandmother, Jayasankari Amma, Tharoor’s sons and other family members. The function was held at the 200-year-old ancestral home of Tharoor at Elavanchery village near Kollangodu at about 8.30 am on Sunday. During the marriage Tharoor was clad in traditional Malayali attire of kurtha and mundu whereas 48-year-old Sunanda, a Kashmiri dressed in ‘veshti-mundu set’ like any Malayali bride.

Nathuram Godse :: The Man who killed Gandhi

Nathuram Godse was a Brahmin from Pune. He played in the main role in the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated on 30 January 1948, shot at point-blank range by Nathuram Godse. In this consipracy he was supported by his brother, Gopal Godse and six other Hindu Mahasabha members. He was arrested immediately after he assassinated Gandhiji, based on a F. I. R. filed by Nandlal Mehta at the Tughlak Road Police staton at Delhi. The trial began on May 27, 1948 and concluded on February 10, 1949. During the trial, he did not defend any charge and openly admitted that he killed Gandhi explained the motive behind this assassination. Finally, he was sentenced to death.

Shashi Tharoor to Marry Sunanda Pushkar

Former Indian minister of state for external affairs Shashi Tharoor is once again hitting the headlines of all the newspapers, channels and gossip blogs as he is all set to marry her old companion Sunanda Pushkar. He has recently divorced his Canadian wife Christa Giles. According to a Malayalam newspaper, marriage is scheduled to take place in an auditorium in the premises of the Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple in Thiruvananthapuram on August 17, which is also the Malayalam New Year Day. The Reception Party of marriage will be held in New Delhi on 3rd September in which many high profile personalities are expected to arrive and give their blessings to newly wed couple 🙂

Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky Wedding Pictures

This was the ‘wedding of the millennium’. Former United States Bill Gates’ first daughter Chelsea Clinton got married to her boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky at the elegant 50-acre Astor Courts estate of Rhinebeck in New York on Saturday, July 31. A network of fully air-conditioned massive white tents were erected on the grounds of the Astor Courts estate. Marc Mazvinsky works at G3 Capital, a Manhattan hedge fund. Chelsea and Marc were friends as teenagers in Washington, DC, and attended Stanford University together. The marriage is an interfaith marriage as the bride was brought up as a Methodist Christian and the groom is Jewish.

Rahul Mahajan accused of beating up his wife

Dimpy Mahajan, the wife of Rahul Mahajan has moved out from his house after being physically abused. Meanwhile, she has told reporters that her husband has apologised to her. She was punched, kicked, dragged by hair on Thursday night. She has also claimed that he regularly beat her up. Dimpy is a Kolkata-based model. She married Rahul at a much-hyped wedding on Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega on March 6, 2010. Shweta Singh, Rahul’s first wife whose marriage to Mahajan ended in divorce in 2008, is not surprised at all. Rupee Symbol added in KBC Logo

AmitabhSony Channel has created a new logo for KBC in which they have added the new Rupee Symbol. Actually Amitabh Bachchan, who is going to host next season, suggested Sony to do so. Amitabh tweeted “Insisted Sony to incorporate the new rupee symbol in the KBC logo. They did. Looking so cool,”. He also uploaded the new logo on Twitpic and wrote: “New logo for KBC ! Note the Rupee symbol incorporated in the design. My suggestion !! Yeahhh !! Feeling good !! thank you SONY .. What do you guys feel?” Kaun Banega Crorepati or KBC is one of the most popular Indian reality shows based on the UK gameshow Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
