Download Indian Rupee Font and Symbol

After a long wait, the Rupee has a symbol like other major global currencies. Earlier five different design were shortlisted for Indian rupee. The Rupee Symbol includes Both Devnagiri “Ra”and the Roman capital “R” and has two parallel lines running at the top. The two parallel lines denotes the Indian Flag [equal to (=) sign]. The final selected symbol was design by an Indian Institute of Technology postgraduate Mr. D Udaya Kumar. Meanwhile, Foradian Technologies Pvt Ltd from Managalore has created the Rupee Foradian font that can now be downloaded from their website foradian.com.

Economic Disparities in India

Winter was at its zenith in Delhi on 31st Dec 2009 night. I was returning from Noida to Delhi in my office bus. I saw a few blue coloured polyethylene tents on roadside and flames coming from cooking stoves. Soon I realised that those tents were occupied and the dwellers inside were cooking food for their last dinner of the year and of course, the decade. At that night, when most of the readers of this article were in celebration mood, those people were not sure whether they would brave chilly winter winds of Delhi and would be alive to welcome the new year.

Why Paul the Octopus is always right?

Paul the Octopus is a common octopus which is in news due to its correct predictions on the results of major German international football matches.
