Indian General Elections 2009 results are out. The Congress party’s has shown spectacular performance in General Elections and secured its biggest win since 1991. The Congress party-led coalition is likey to win 261 seats, which is still short of majority by 11 seats. However the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led opposition alliance is lagging behind at only 160 seats and a Third Front is able to win only 58 seats. This victory of Congress Party is also very critical because now it will be able to form a stable coalition with smaller parties and be less vulnerable to pressure on issues like economic reforms, national security and foriegn affairs. The Congress win should also boost Indian Corporate world and investor confidence and hopes for better reforms in the period of economic recession. But the aim of this article is to point out the biggest losers of this elections. So let’s start the list.
